U.S. Release News for Amusement

November 17, 2008 – 4:25 pm Warner Picturehouse's long-delayed anthology horror movie written by Jake Wade Wall ( When a Stranger Calls ), Amusement , is bowing in the U.S. on DVD (and Blu-ray) January 20th after all. Following well over a year of speculation about whether it will get a theatrical release, the movie was handed over to New Line Home Entertainment for distribution duties. And there you have it, a DVD release with no special features to speak of. Cover art front and back can be found below. Directed by John Simpson - and starring Jessica Lucas, Tad Hilgenbrink, Keir O'Donnell and Katheryn Winnick - Amusement is a trio of terror tales involving a young woman and her friends who are preyed upon by someone from their past.
