Synapse Films Cranks up the Horror
August 26, 2008 – 7:08 am Gory sci-fi, horror comedy, and Australian exploitation – what do these three things have in common? Well, if you said they’re all part of Synapse Films’ upcoming fall slate, you might consider getting a life. Just kidding. But seriously, if that’s what you answered then you already know about some cool stuff Synapse is doing. The distribution house is repackaging and redistributing Aussie flicks Patrick, Dark Forces, and Thirst (with a documentary about Aussie exploitation--Not Quite Hollywood) as well as the horror film Strange Behavior and the sci-fi adventurer Syngenor. The films are all part of a special edition package from Synapse which will distribute the films with new commentaries, special features and extras, so be sure to get to your local DVD retailer and pick them up on October 28th for the minimal price of $19.95 before they’re all gone![bodylocalimg]http://comcast.vo.llnwd.net/d1/u/horror/fearnet/images/7172.jpg [/bodylocalimg]
