Cox to Direct Dark Castle’s Summoner

November 17, 2008 – 4:25 pm James Cox ( Wonderland ) has signed on to direct The Summoner for Dark Castle, the house of horror that brought us House on Haunted Hill and House of Wax . This one, written by Matthew Sand, is described as a psychological horror film about a dude who summons a "supernatural being." When his control slips, he must stop the evil he has loosed on our world. Sand co-wrote the screenplay for another Dark Castle film Ninja Assassin which arrives in 2009. Filming begins in Portland, Oregon this January.
